Hello, my name is Zachary Aghdaei, and I am a 5th grade student at Hallinan.  I have been here for 6 years and have the opportunity today to be an assistant principal, so I wanted to give you a students insight on things!

What does it mean to be a ‘Hallinan Hawk’?  All students at Hallinan have the opportunity to be ‘Hawks’.  To be a good ‘Hawk’ you need to treat people the way you want to be treated.  This is one of the key points in being a good ‘Hawk’.

If you want to be treated with respect and in a good manner, then you must in return treat them the same way.  Another thing that you can do to be a better ‘Hawk’ is to follow Hallinan’s three main rules; Be Safe, Be Kind, and Be Responsible.

Friends are probably the most important part of being a good ‘Hawk’.  Friends are one of the most important things in life, friends will always be there for you,  and always help you, when you need it.  Finally, always be on your best behavior, for being the best you can be, is almost perfect.
