Friends of Hallinan Heights Woods Planting Party in Hallinan Woods Sunday, October 11, 1-3 pm Sunday, November 8, 1-3 pm Bring the family; join with friends & neighbors to help plant natives in Hallinan Woods. After 10+ years of work, Hallinan Woods is finally free of invasive species. It’s time to continue the restoration of this special natural area in our neighborhood by replacing the invasive plants with ones that belong there: vine maples, snow berries, Oregon grape, thimble berry, ferns, etc. We need your help in this ongoing effort. The city will provide the plants. It’s up to us to get them in the ground. Rain or shine, come prepared with appropriate clothes & shoes/boots. Bring gloves & shovels if you have them.
